This explains what personal information we collect when you use Scaflo — our website, our online courses, and our booking link — why we collect it, and what you can ask us to do with it.
The short version. We collect your name and email address so you can have a course account, plus a record of what you do inside the course. We use it to run the course and to reply to you. We do not sell it, and we do not share it with anyone except the services that host the course. You can ask us to delete it at any time.
Scaflo is the trading brand of ShalBegin Services (SSM registered, IP0575378u), a learning design studio based in Malaysia. For anything in this policy, write to hello@scaflo.my.

We do not ask for, and do not want, sensitive personal information. Please do not put anyone else's personal details into a course activity — where an exercise asks you to describe a learner, invent one.
Google tells us your name and email address, and nothing else. We do not receive your password, your contacts, your files, or anything else in your Google account.
We rely on your consent, which you give by creating an account, and which you can withdraw at any time by asking us to close it.
We do not sell your information, and we do not share it for anyone else's marketing. It reaches these services only because they run the things the course is built on:

These providers operate internationally, so your information may be stored on servers outside Malaysia. We may also disclose information where the law requires it.
The course platform sets a session cookie so it can remember that you are logged in. Without it, the course cannot work. We do not use advertising cookies and we do not track you across other websites. If you press play on an embedded video, YouTube may then set its own cookies.
We keep your account and course records for as long as your account exists, so that you can return to the course and your badge remains valid. Email correspondence is kept while it is useful and cleared out afterwards. If you ask us to delete your account, we do.
Under Malaysia's Personal Data Protection Act 2010 you may:
Write to hello@scaflo.my and we will deal with it. There is no charge. Anything you have written in a shared discussion stays visible to other learners unless you ask us to remove it too, so say if you want that.
Our courses are made for working adults and are not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has created an account, tell us and we will remove it.
Access to the course platform is protected by your password or your Google sign-in, and administrative access is limited to us. No online service can promise perfect security, but we do not store payment details, and we do not collect information we do not need.
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top. If a change is significant and affects you, we will say so by email.
